The guy my mom married, after my dad passed away (I don't refer to him as my step dad. We have not seen eye to eye more than we have seen eye to eye) was in a fraternity. He is in his 70s and he still goes to an annual event with other "brothers".

He gives a donation every year as well. A friend of mine was in the same frat as he was and one day my friend told me he had ran into him somewhere and he was telling him that when he went to the frat house that year he was extremely disappointed with how they were keeping up the house (or lack of keeping it up), he expressed to the house that it was unacceptable and that he wouldn't be giving a donation that year.. Or some bullshite, but there are people who continue to contribute to their frat after graduating.

I've heard him complain about how "kids today" have no respect for their fraternity because they all join for "the wrong reasons" and they are hurting the greek system, etc, etc.

But again, there are probably more people than you would imagine who actually still keeps up with their frat, etc.
