That is exactly what happened the latter part of last season, when the frats were run off of the parade grounds. Several of them moved to the area behind U High, by the Alumni Hotel and across from the last group of frat houses close to University Lake. That area has been where we have tailgated for the last 20 years, and it has always been a nice, more laid-back tailgating spot for a LOT of families, with shade trees, open grass where their kids can throw the ball, etc. 

After being kicked off the parade grounds last year, frats took over the fields and open grass with huge tents and canopies, blaring DJ'ed "music" (mostly vulgar rap), crowds of obnoxious frat bros and drunken trashy sorors, etc.

It's been back to normal so far this year, but that will probably change...

Get all the Greeks to get on board with not going to the games. Don't buy student tickets next year. That'll send a very clear message.

~10,000 unsold student tickets will send the message pretty damn quick. ~10,000 unfilled seats will too. Watch their heads spin as the stadium is 1/6 empty at kickoff and they are thousands of dollars short in reserved seating that they can't sell to the general public on short notice. You'll catch the university with it's pants down. They rely on those tickets to sell every year.

You want to stick it to them? That's your only play to do so aside from bitching on the internet.

Too bad LSU Greeks are collectively too big of pussies to follow through with that--they'll just try and tailgate elsewhere incognito, until the university catches on later down the line.

Was a Greek back in undergrad years ago. You could also try not forcing pledges to drink... I know every house aside from Phi Delt had nothing to do with the death, but put yourself in the administration's shoes--they have been looking for an excuse to nip this in the bud for a long time, Phi Delt handed it to them on a silver platter.
