No tailgating, reduced fans in the stands, masks, reduced schedule, no Texas game--what they are putting out is a defective product. We are being handed shite and being told it's shinola.

The only way to stand up to the university, the SEC, and the NCAA for these bad policies is to take the season off.

I encourage you to join me in not participating in the season in any form or fashion this year. The only way to send a message is to not spend one dollar on LSU football; to not watch one minute of the season on television or in person.

The fan experience, the experience we all cherish, has been stripped from us because we apparently cannot make decisions about how we want to live our lives and the risks were willing to take. Stand up for yourself with me and do not buy the defective product that we are being told we should be thankful for this year.

We deserve better and it's time we said so.

2014 Ole Miss beat Alabama 23-17 with Bo Wallace at QB.

All you have to do to win a game is score more points than the other guy.

What if Dan Mullen is O's bugaboo?

What if he's the guy who gives him trouble for whatever reason?

He defeated O with Moo State last year and this year he did the same with Jorts U.

Food for thought on a UF/LSU rematch.

Everything has everything to do with losing. No factor is too small to be insignificant. That's how stats work. The uniforms may only be ever-so-slightly causationally related to the outcome of the game, but every factor matters.

For example on how uniforms can affect the outcome of a game: The QB is used to spotting players down field wearing a specific white jersey, yellow pants, and yellow helmet. Change that up and everything he is accustomed to looking for is different. That affects his performance. Especially when the team only ever wears one uniform combination. What he is used to looking for is now a totally different color--whether he admits it or makes a point to say it is irrelevant. It's all about conditioning and changing a uniform drastically affects the brain's and eye's conditioning.

Every factor has consequences on performance. Weather, humidity, personal stress, crowd interaction, what you had for lunch, and yes, even the uniforms.

The fact of the matter is that since the team has been doing alternate uniforms they are 8-4. Under Coach O they are 1-1 with a loss to Troy at home on homecoming. If the uniform was a significant factor would you keep using them? Because you'd call for firing the coach on an 8 win season. So why keep using flashy uniforms when the team wins 66% of it's games in them?
From 1995 on, the tigers are 8-4 in alternate uniforms.

1995 L to Kentucky
1996 W over Vanderbilt
1997 W over Notre Dame
1998 L to Florida
2007 W over Tulane
2009 W over Arkansas (OT)
2011 W over Auburn
2015 W over South Carolina
2015 L to Ole Miss
2016 W over Southern Miss
2016 W over Mississippi State
2017 L to Troy (embarrassing)

Pass. Stick to what works: white jersey, yellow pants, yellow helmet.

At 8-4 you'd be calling for a complete leveling of the athletic department. So why at 8-4 are you interested in continuing to use alternate uniforms?
Get all the Greeks to get on board with not going to the games. Don't buy student tickets next year. That'll send a very clear message.

~10,000 unsold student tickets will send the message pretty damn quick. ~10,000 unfilled seats will too. Watch their heads spin as the stadium is 1/6 empty at kickoff and they are thousands of dollars short in reserved seating that they can't sell to the general public on short notice. You'll catch the university with it's pants down. They rely on those tickets to sell every year.

You want to stick it to them? That's your only play to do so aside from bitching on the internet.

Too bad LSU Greeks are collectively too big of pussies to follow through with that--they'll just try and tailgate elsewhere incognito, until the university catches on later down the line.

Was a Greek back in undergrad years ago. You could also try not forcing pledges to drink... I know every house aside from Phi Delt had nothing to do with the death, but put yourself in the administration's shoes--they have been looking for an excuse to nip this in the bud for a long time, Phi Delt handed it to them on a silver platter.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Have you seen Clemson's? Their toughest opponent is Duke based on rankings. They already played their toughest opponent in reality (A&M) which would be our 5th or 6th toughest game.
There is a very powerful argument to be made that LSU should be ranked 1 considering they are the only team in the country with two top ten wins under their belt. Either the rankings mean something and they reflect who is the current best team in the country based on current wins, or they mean nothing and Alabama and Clemson can just sit idle in the top 5 playing JV squads until they lose maybe one game down the stretch.

These inflated rankings based on past teams' success are nonsense.

LSU and UGA.

Alabama's schedule this year is a joke. They are currently set to play 3 ranked teams all season, only one of which being a top five team--5 LSU. And if Auburn botches another game, they may not even be a top 10 opponent when they play Alabama at the end of the year.

Also, 23 Miss. St. can fall from the rankings by the time they play Alabama on 11/10, leaving Alabama with 2 ranked opponents on the year. 3 if they go to the SECCG to face UGA.

4 ranked opponent wins > 3 (or 2) ranked opponent wins. Simple as that.

But LSU defeats Alabama this year, so nothing to worry about.
