Let's face it. Most Americans don't know their own 2 senators, congressmen, which branch of American government is part of the presidency.

* Most Americans don't vote. (That's their problem, not mine)
* Black people, the same people who fought and died to have voting rights, 54 years later after the 1964 Civil Rights Act, still don't vote as much as white counterparts.
* You get the government you truly deserve
* The mainstream media does a poor job of informing Americans
* Food, drink, Pop and entertainment culture is what most Americans focus on.
* Most Americans don't even know that we are still in a war in Afghanistan, 17 years after 9/11/01.

"My vote doesn't count"
"Voting doesn't matter"
"I don't follow politics"
"I don't care about politics"

That's their problem, not mine. You get the government that you deserve, regardless of who is in office.

It seems like American government is broken.

Why don't America dismantle the current government system, and have an American monarchy with a king, queen, prince, princess, and royal family?

Or....anarchy?

What government will Americans truly want?

Personally I would prefer a parliamentary style democracy.

The two party system is whats wrong here, not democracy.

States rights is the answer to what the country wants.

Dont want income tax? Move to state that doesn't tax income.
Want to smoke weed? Move to a state where it's legal.
Want state run medical insurance? Move to a state that is capable of doing such
Down with sodomizing? Move to California

One that gives them everything without taxing them. Seriously, Americans are by and large a stupid people. We don't have the politicians we do today without that being true.

We had one. Trump broke the succession that would have given us Dutchess Hilary of Hogswalla, Queen of the USA. Wife of the Former King William. And of course we can’t forget about Lords Bush and Kennedy.

if you ask idiot sky screaming liberals, they will say they want the kardashians to be americas ruling royalty and all white people rounded up and put into reeducation camps where they are brainwashed into liberal zombies

if you ask normal sane people, they will say they want the trumps to be americas ruling royalty and continue to MAGA for the next 50 years

a proportional/parliamentary system in the US would be nuts. we may have 50 parties

the method of election is only one variable. do we maintain the constitutional nature of limits? do we maintain the federalism b/w states and the federal government? it could get really complicated or be very minor tweaks

Sure! Typical response to a problem in America. Lets not worry or consider fixing the problem. Lets make it easier for people to be lazy and let the government take care of everything.

I don't think it's necessarily because it's a reflection of the people. I think politics has become so toxic and such a hassle that good people don't want to get involved.

This is what I agree with. Anything that isn't specifically allocated to the federal government in the Constitution should be state issues. Everything doesn't have to be nationalized. What is good for one state may not be good for another.

This is solely due to the fact that we have an electoral college with a winner take all system per state. Gerrymandering on both sides makes it so that many regions are overrepresented in the House.

Ties in to my 1st point. Blacks mostly live in Southern states that are predominantly GOP. Their votes dont mean much at the state level. They only have impact at the local level.

You get the government that companies in that locality bribe for.

We agree on media. The pop culture addiction is a byproduct of consumerism, which itself is a byproduct of capitalism. I love capitalism, but consumerism is the price we pay for it.

Most people know. But they are jaded by the fact nobody, not even Trump, will be able to end it. Being called "unpatriotic" for being anti war is old.
