It's hard to argue against being a teenager in a decade defined by muscle cars, amazing rock music, backseat sex, and weed

Couldn't have said it better myself, mid to late 70's was the GOAT

That's why I love watching the movie "Dazed and Confused", very accurate depiction of high school in the mid to late 70's. Such good times and non of this stupid #metoo shite.

Don't forget that every housewife was on either "diet pills" (amphetamines) and/or Valium, coke was just coming on the scene with Disco in the mid 70's, alcohol age was 18. No such thing as AID's, no silly helmet/pad/seatbelt laws. Cops wore a 6 shooter and had the dog at home not out being taught to bark and scratch at some minor hand signal for an excuse to violate search and seizure rights.
