I received this information from a well-informed source in DC:

To help with Senate candidates in tough elections, direct contributions to their campaigns are better than PAC donations.

Rank from most needed/effective:
1) Heller(NV)
2) McSally(AZ)
3) Hawley (MO)
4) Cramer (ND)
5) Braun (IN).

There's bitching and complaining, then there is sending ammo.

It's time.

Solid list. You need to swap out Cramer for Patrick Morrisey in WV.

Cramer is going to win. And technically they are all considered PAC contributions because you can’t just give them money to their personal bank account.

You can give to re-elect PAC and a leadership PAC to increase how much you give.

To clarify, donations to the candidates' campaigns directly are more effective than donations to large groups (NRA, NRSC, etc) at this particular time (according to my friend). I infer my friend doesn't think Manchin is at risk, or at least that the chances of a flip are less than the list above.

Thanks for your input.

Look at RealClearPolitics over the next week. They do a good job on poll averages, along with general trends. The fallout from the Kav debacle will begin to show itself late next week, IMO. I'm guessing 1 or 2 races are going to see a significant uptick for the R candidate. That's where I would put my message money.
Just for funsies, I'll predict IN, MO, and FL will see the most movement. I think the Dems wrote off TX with this stunt, and possibly TN (woman candidate for the GOP, needed a touchstone issue vs popular Dem). WV will get closer but ultimately will send Manchin back to DC, especially if he votes to confirm.

Heller is currently down 1 or 2 points. That’s before the chaos of this past week which has boosted our numbers.

McSally is also down a few points. But her internals were better than the public polling.

Her opponent Sinema is extremely moderate and make her race tougher.

Indiana similar with knocking out Donnelly. Kavanaugh vote will really hurt him (assuming he votes no)

In AZ, female vs female washes out that Kav issue, I think.
Is the Kav issue resonating with Nevadans as a "fairness" issue, or more as a proxy fight over abortion?

See my post above. I told my spouse the night of the Kav testimony that the Dems had made the decision to write off TX with their strategy.

Now, if you really like Cruz, by all means, send him $$$. My point was to forward some inside scoop as to where a donation would have the best outcome/dollar ratio.

THat should only be a determination IF he declares he is supporting Kav PRIOR to the floor vote, or it he votes BEFORE the GOP pussies vote. If he tosses in a 'yes' vote after the conclusion is sealed, it is worthless as a bucket of warm spit.

When the republican party can convince me they will carry out the campaign promise...i.e. repeal Obama Care... I will gladly contribute to their campaigns. Until then those two faced slime bags won't get a dime.

They ended the mandate and lowered medical device taxes. What else would you like to see changed?

Pre-existing conditions and Medicaid expansion are never going away.

I'm going to offer the contrary view.

Individual donations to a candidate are never effective.

Where political donations are effective is when they are bundled by special interest groups and given to candidates in large amounts. That makes the candidate beholden to the cause.

So if you want to donate, donate through things like the NRA pac, pro life PAC, etc which forces candidates to work for and acknowledge causes you care about.

Otherwise, they can simply take the money and run.

McSally has a rino problem.

A former #nevertrumper, there's not much reason to believe she's going to be better than McCain/Flake.

If we can get the other four in the OP's post across the finish line and sacrifice McSally's seat for a term, that will be a better outcome.

You know, kinda like Alabama. Just the shoe's on the other foot this time.
