other than it was a Trump campaign emphasis.

what are the possible reason that can be openly discussed??

cost?

effectiveness?

environmental concerns?

esthetics?

eminent domain?

Those are all the rational reasons I can conjure up that could motivate resistance.

I actually KNOW why the prog/DEM/MSM/academic/entertainment/ChamberOfCommerce cabal is opposing it =

They want:
- cheap labor

- illegal voting

- increased welfare dependency

- more tribalism

- increased chaos, including crime

- elimination of American culture

- open borders

What I'd like to see is if anyone is willing to articulate their opposition to the wall.

Serious question = anyone???

edit for LIBERALS ONLY - (and I don't often use the word 'liberal' because they are more totalitarian than anything suggested by liberalism - but that seems to be an appellation they want to use.

Yeah - stupid slogans

Just appealing to a PROG who can articulate a reason they'd be willing to discuss with their grandchildren in their old age.

They only want the votes to keep their sorry asses leeching off of our tax paying dollars. Nothing more.

bumping this to the top - getting ready to leave for MDA Houston and won't be back on until later tonight - didn't want to have to search too far for it.

I am assuming none of our resident progs have anything they wish to contribute here.

They all know why they oppose the wall and are too ashamed to admit it.

Absolutely. That wall may used to keep us in one day. We don't know what the future holds but we know Donald Trump won't always be the President

The only legit argument I've heard against building the wall was that we would lose access to the Rio Grande river.

Because like.. we need those like ..votes. and if we can like reduce the ethics in the voting process of other states, like we did in like California. The undocumented Americans will like be able to keep us in like power, forever.

Then if any nonliberals complain, we'll point out an unbiased free press clip..that states any kind of like voter fraud is like impossible.

A wall would like hinder our plan.

Colossal waste of money to build/maintain

Lacks effectiveness - majority of illegal immigrants come over legally then stay illegally

Destroys habitats

Will be a rallying point in the future and will require another colossal waste of money when it is eventually torn down

I'm a Trump guy from day 1 and I never supported or felt the wall would be built. I always hopped he was angling for a massive increase in funding to border patrol / policing.

Not a wall on the planet that can't be scaled with time. We simply can't build a wall that would keep folks out unless that wall is also going to be manned by a massive army.

If they build a wall, it should be done with illegal alien prison camp labor.

Those three pretty much sum it up regardless of your political ideology.

Thanks.

Imma guess no. Just like no one can articulate a reason to be against voter ID.

Thats nice.

Percentage wise, how much do you think it would cut the numbers of criminal aliens invading?
