That's what I think. They started off pretty terrible last year and turned it around. It will happen this year too.

I cant say the same thing. If you look at the QBs we played last year, you might change your mind. Our schedule is much tougher and if we lose to the Browns, which could well happen, the season is over.

We lost to 2 playoff teams in week 1 and 2. Are Tampa and the Browns in the same league as Minnesota and new England?

We face Atlanta in Atlanta week 3 so if we get past the Browns we could still be 1-2. After the bye its going to get difficult to reach .500 if we arent there before the bye.

I think they will be better too. This week I am predicting at least 1 punt.

They say steel sharpens steel

This week Saints D vs Cleveland O will be Jello mushing Jello

Isn’t that kinda like saying “ I think this elevator here in the basement is going to go up”?

Bold prediction.

With our offense, all we have to do it not give up the big play and we should win. Just so happened we gave it up 4 or 5 times which is unacceptable.

My issue with the play calling is that we've gone away from what made us successful last year. It doesnt matter if we get gashed occasionally in the run game because teams won't be able to keep up with us if thats their game plan. We weren't good against the run last year on a per play basis, but teams had to give up on it after the first half or risk falling way behind.

Play your 2 coverage linebackers and switch up the looks. Stop the deep ball and give the CBs help over the top.

If Hyde runs for 100 yards next week, I'd bet the saints win as long as he's not breaking off big plays. Thats the bend, dont break defense that we need with our top rated offense. Tyeler Davison is decent but he should never play the 2nd most snaps on the D-line.

We win that game if stop the deep ball and its that simple. Just a bad game plan going in.

Difference also is our scheme was the same Sunday as it was all season during that amazing stretch after the first two losses last season.

And, we looked the worse Subday as we did all lasr season using that scheme. That is what scares me. Scheme was the same as last seasons success, but guys looked slower and the linebackers were HORRIBLE.

, seriously. Saints need more physical and big bodies on the defensive line. A good pass rush from the ends, a push up the middle from the defensive lineman. Secondary was a let down on Sunday and need to be overhauled. I think the Saints front office need to take a look at Johnathan Hankins, he is a big body that can fill the void they have along the defensive line. Eric Reid is still available to help in the secondary.

Just look at the personnel this year vs last year. Did it get worse? No. This is a major overreaction to a bad game. Sit tight, they’ll be fine.

Lot of talent on this D, but the leader is lacking imo. This D was not prepared for the first game; horrible scheme & little adjustments. To late for this year, but hopefully the CEO knows it is time for a change.
