Think about it...prior to the Miami game, LSU was so disrepected they came out and with their performance, surprised everyone. Well, those who knew the potential of this team wasn't surprised. So, they "underperformed" against SELU! We knew they were not going to be sky high, but they are still young. So, now the pendulum has swung back. No one gives them a chance, so the motivation is ALL LSU for now. Talking heads say no way we win on the Plains, Vegas with no respect. HOWEVER, we have a defense that is one of the best in years. Defense with a turnover here and there and you never know. Also, we now have a special teams FG kicker that can deliver in a close game.

All I am saying is that the lack of respect this week, with the knowledge that we had many players out last week, along with some serious focus, and all of you may be surprised. I, for one, expect LSU to show up and surprise!

Maybe this is O & E's plan. Purposely shite the bed all year on offense so that we're disrespected thus leading to the media/vegas giving us no chance.... thus leading to bulletin board material which fires our players up.

Genius.

You're in denial. The problems with this team are real.

JB is running for his life. The O-line is swiss cheese. Our RBs are serviceable but will not find those holes this week. JG has yet to make an impact for the WRs....who can't seem to get off tight coverage. Other than that...things look rosy.

We can't even block Southeastern, how are we going to block Auburn?

First, it is SLU, not SELU.

Second, why did we know they would not be sky high against SLU? A season opener in Tiger Stadium? Seriously?

Our defense is good, no doubt. But, they did allow a QB nowhere near as good as AU's to complete 23/33. They cannot do it on their own. And with the offense last in most major categories in the SEC and in the bottom of the national rankings I am not sure how simply being disrespected cures the problem.

By your argument if we start winning games and stop being disrespected we will begin losing, as that is the only positive you point out for our offense.

I am SICK and frickING TIRED of this excuse. How the frick are Georgia, Bama, and other contenders whipping out good teams year after year that have young players but this is your excuse?

motivation is ALL LSU for now.

Motivation doesn't win games my man. I'm motivated to be governor of Louisiana. Is it going to do anything if I don't scheme, plan, and work on a great game plan? No.

I guess this will be Orgeron's MO for the rest of his career.

Early success, then failure, leading to motivation for success.

Got them exactly where we want them, eh?
They probably THINK we have weaknesses on the offensive line they can exploit, just as we planned....

31-0 and LSU shite the bed. What a Meltard. Do you think LSU gameplanned for Southeastern! Wake up, they are planning for AU all last week and this week. No resources or analyst spent a single moment to review Southeastern. Southeastern played well, we kept it vanilla. I think our vanilla should have looked better. But, we aren't bringing vanilla to AU.

The games count now that SEC play is here. I'm not a secret playbook conspiracy guy, but if LSU was smart, they would hold back the offensive play calling to not show AU our capabilities. No need to show all the bells and whistles against a crappy Southeastern team just to show the world LSU can score 70 plus points.

No one on this board can truly believe that this is the best we can do on offense. If you do, you're an Idiot.

Better to keep one's keyboard to themselves and be thought an idiot, than to post "your an idiot" and dispel all doubt.

Well that’s just great. Don’t gameplan for a lesser opponent, so that our OL isn’t ready for certain looks, and get our QB hurt!! Then we’ll really be underdogs with Myles at QB, but we’re gonna shock the world!!! fricking idiot.

I'm gonna have to agree with you here. Chason Virgil and Lorenzo Nunez were good Qb's and did a lot on their feet. Stidham is mobile, but cant move like those 2 so he will have to beat us with his arm. I like our All American Greedy and Fulton vs their recievers. I like our Def vs their offense.

Maybe we could show them we can complete more than 50% of our passes? Or might they give away too much to AU?

mcelroy, Mccarron, syms, coker, hurts/tua

PLUG AND PLAY

meanwhile we have had one very good Qb in 10 years...........mett

Our QB isn't hurt, and our starting OL didn't even play. You don't need to gameplan against a 2nd Division FCS school. They have running QB's, that's all you need to know if you're LSU.

DO you really want LSU to spend all last week focusing on Southeastern or focusing AU. Just think about it.

We should game plan for a lesser opponent, but not the ultimate cupcake games. Let us work on the AU plan instead and just show up against cupcake. Hell, make up the playcalling as you go for all I care.
