Sorry hit the post button too soon...
If/when RBG needs to be replaced and DJT is still POTUS, would you be ok with Merrick Garland? If for no other reason than to watch the shitshow when the left obstructs Obama’s former nominee.

Why would we settle just because the Democrats want to embarrass themselves for a few days during the confirmation hearing? Let them show the world that they are fools while we get who we want pushed through.

Another thing to consider is that the left won't be so "merciful" in the future when they have a chance to get everything they want. Why would we concede anything to them when we know they will take what they can get and then stab us in the back with the next chance they get? To the winner go the spoils.

Let me put it this way, I want a nominee that is going to cause their spleens to explode. I want a name that is going to cause them to scream at the sky, water and ground. I want a name that is going to cause the left to drink some Jonestown koolaide. Cause if they are going to put up a fuss like this, I want a name worthy of it.

As do I. I would think that Merrick Garland would still be an improvement on Ginsberg. In an ideal world Amy Barrett is my choice, BUT if the left do take back congress at some point in Trumps tenure, I would think it would at least be something to think about.

Maybe at one point I would have offered it just to have the Dems turn it down.
At this point I would find someone to the right of Scalia or Clarence Thomas due to the grandstanding bullshite of Booker, Harris, and others.
