What we need to see against Southeastern

We need to see razor sharp execution by the offense.
No "slopping around" (as Gerry D would say) and not play down to opposition.
Come out, run the offense and dominate the game and gain some confidence. Move the chains and be efficient in the red zone.
Put away Southeastern early and stay focused.
That is all.

Need to throw a lot. Get the receivers to stop dropping balls and gain confidence

ARE they even good enough to get a good practice in against or help us get better in any way? How and why did we wind up with SLU on our schedule? I just don't see what we get out of this game. There are cup cakes and then there is this. How do the players even get up for a game like this. To have a good practice you have to have the right mindset to where you have a certain concentration level and I just don't see that happening. I just see a sloppy useless practice happening that we get nothing out of and probably causes more harm than good.

Throw the ball until the passing game and blocking is clicking.
Throw throw throw.
Throw throw throw.

Need to work 1st down execution. Hard to be successful on 3rd down when its always 3rd and 9 or 3rd and 7. We need to work on getting 3 or more yards on 1st downs

No injuries. Only thing that matters this weekend.

I have to laugh at the down votes.

I'm hoping we can use this as a live practice and focus on our shortcomings and later in the game, get our inexperienced players a little game time.

I hope we'll see ALL the WR's on the depth chart to see if there are any extra sure-handed ballplayers in there.

From a football point of view, I'm mainly looking at three things from this game.
* Offensive Line PASS blocking and assignment recognition. How many breakdowns will occur against mighty Southeastern Louisiana Junior College at Hammond? If they can't totally dominate in every phase and give Burrow time to find his receivers, it will be bad news against AU next week.
* Wide Receiver drops. (Or Not) Can't have it anymore. The O/E Game Plan should be 90% passing so they can work on it and give JB more practice with his timing. Don't need that much practice "Running" fast. QB, OL and WR's need the reps before Auburn. Positively matriculate the damn oval leather thing by forcibly pushing it through the air!
* Chaisson substitute competency.
From a non-football pov, the after game Rant Complain-A-Whiner threads about anything and everything will be entertaining as usual. (Offense, Defense, Special Teams, Parking, Pre-game atmosphere on campus, Pre and post game traffic, Tailgating, Concessions, Bathrooms, Game atmosphere in Tiger Stadium, Chute likes and dislikes,
PIM, GBFTL songs and halftime show...….) You name it, the professional CAW's will be out in force tomorrow. (They're mostly correct in their negative compaints though)..........
