Conservatives love illegals for their cheap labor (not unique to conservatives, FYI).
Liberals love illegals for their cheap, illegal votes.
One of those groups can adapt to losing what they love. The other would be proper fricked.

Deomcrats don't know how to run anything.
Everything they touch fails.

You don't get to define conservative as just anything you believe.
Funny cause that’s exactly what you did. Because a few people who call themselves conservative hire illegal immigrants that means it is conservative value. According to you.

The Mexicans who have jobs and are making money for their family love Trump.
Most people place the well being of their family over tranny bathrooms and MS-13 having safe passage.

The problem with having a booming economy is that you attract a few hundred Californians who think the best thing to do is make Texas like California.
t. I live on a street full of Californians who think this. In Montgomery County.

Louisiana and Mississippi have low costs of living. Shouldn't Fortune 500s be flocking there?
The difference is obviously corruption, education, infrastructure/airports, etc. Those things matter too. My point is that Dallas is cheaper than San Francisco in every way.
Why do you think movies are being filmed in Atlanta and not L.A.? The huge incentives offered by California basically erase the tax advantages of other places. However, California is still more expensive for other reasons.

Oh I don't know about that. Many conservative types are two faced about the hiring of illegal immigrants. The business owners love the cheap and productive labor they provide especially in the warehouse business and construction. Many upper middle class types don't mind that their services are provided by cheap reliable illegal labor...they don't want them becoming citizens though, it would ruin the game for them

the only people surprised by this are the echo-chamber trump fans. stop watching fox for a week, you might get a glimpse of whats actually going on in America.
Shake, when talking about what is going on in Texas politics I have a distinct advantage over you.
I actually live in Texas. I have yet to see a single Cruz ad or a Cruz sign, but I have seen Beto all over the news, the papers, his TV Ads, and also being interviewed on local programs.
That being said, Cruz will crush this dude mainly because Cruz will start politicking in Sept and Oct on his record and the economic climate in the state. While doing so he will point out all the ways this Beto guy wants to bring failed socialist policies and programs into Texas and that will be that.
Texas is not purple at all, it is red through and through

You're saying Texas spends its tax payer dollars wisely? Hmm.

Texas is turning purple because of immigrants and liberals running away from liberal states. But keep galloping on your high horse

O'Rourke isn't from South Texas. He's from El Paso which is closer to California than South Texas.

It’s all the same culture down here man.
Should I call it Texas-Mexico or new New Mexico?

But the voters are continually pushing Texas purple to the point some beta douche guy running for Senate will come within single digits of one of the best Senators.
Because too many dem-progs are moving in and bringing their voting habits. They don’t seem to understand that it caused them to leave their home states.

Much more wisely than LA and MS.
And California does lose in a head-to-head cost/tax/regulation match up.
Lost in this is that California added 300,000 people last year. And it has the best public university system on earth. And it controls most of the venture capital in this country.
I get it. Some companies are better off in Texas. But California can't just lower taxes and prevent all of them from leaving. And it isn't going the way of Detroit or something.

Boozin' Beto better make sure he has a designated driver on election night, methinks he'll be drowning his sorrows in the sauce and may cause another accident.
