I hate to hijack the thread but what kind of breathing problems is it having?
Ours has been coughing, snorting & panting a lot, on a steroid pack now & it hasn’t made a difference

Ask the dr for a 6mo prescription but assign it to you...for insurance purposes of course.

We have two poms. Older one has a collapsing trachea. Vet prescribed lomotil to help her breathe. Yeah, a diarrhea treatment drug for breathing issues. Lo and behold, it worked! Now, obviously created another issue, so we have to give her pumpkin with each feeding to keep things moving!

Does she have a form of pulmonary hypertension? They give vasodilators to people with that disease to lower the pressure and ease their breathing. It's not viagra per se, but the active ingredient is the same as viagra.
