A few weeks ago a couple guys were criticizing him for not badgering Marcus Williams more to talk about the play in Minnesota last year. Williams addressed the play and told the media he wouldn't be talking about it anymore. Underhill respected that and moved on. That wasn't good journalism to some, who I guess wanted him to waterboard an answer out of Williams.

it's just peons like Eric Asher and Kaare Johnson who are so butthurt that this dude just showed up and like instantly became a Saints institution because he puts the fricking work in.

really hadn't followed him too much (stopped paying attention to local media years ago), but I had a lot of respect for him bc of this
Too many journalists out there get a kick out of asking the same things over and over again to get a reaction, then demand apologizes if the person is short with them. It's also why I can't stand to watch press conferences, if there are 20 questions you can guarantee it will be 3-4 actual questions asked numerous times.
