What in the world is funny about that?

He just cracked the top 20. That's what barely means.

Can we laugh at my man Pride for saying he was 8th and 11th?

My leagues are PPR. He was 11th in standard.

That's why it's funny.

Gross.

Who plays standard?

ETA: And my point still stands. It isn't crazy to take Barkley over him.

No clue, but Fournette's value is higher than most WRs in it.

Eh. Maybe next year.

Right now you've got a known top 15ish player with an even higher ceiling or a complete unknown. It's not like people are taking Barkley in the 2nd or 3rd round. He's going top 7 in most leagues.

Dammit, beck. I don't play that lame arse standard stuff. In cool leagues he was barely top 20, ask RB10.

Leary if barkley?

Fournette 12 G with sub 4 ypc last season. Stacked boxes aren’t going anywhere. Seems always to have nagging ankle or foot

Gimme

Barkley
Gordon
LF7

Just because other people are doing it doesn't necessarily make it a good pick. There was a time that Trent Richardson was going as a top 5 RB.

I don't buy in to rookies being worth a top 5 pick. People are overreacting to Kamara and Hunt.

He’s asking about the 3 RBs, not a top 5 pick?

If hunt or Kamara were drafted into the workload, they would’ve went around LF7 went in drafts last year

Thing is we know Barkley’s workload as well as the talent, similar to LF last year. Except the offense is more dynamic and vertical. Giants have upgrades all over including coaching, OL, and Beckham returning.

Maybe in hindsight.

No one was taking Kamara or Hunt in the 1st round last year even if they were announced as starters for their teams. Hell, Fournette fell to the 2nd round in quite a few drafts.

ETA: And I didn't target Fournette in the 1st last year either. Like I said, I'm not gambling by taking a rookie with a 1st round pick.

I’m a volume and talent kinda guy tbh. Bonus points for a good offense

This is the beauty of fantasy football. Everyone has their own way of looking at things.

I never said Barkley was a bad take. I said the OP chose to pass on two known commodities for an unknown one. That's just not how I go about my early (rounds 1-3) picks.

I'm with you. I'm pretty conservative early in the 1st and I'm looking for a sure thing, even if the upside isn't off the charts.

I'd most assuredly hold my nose, draft LF, and cross my fingers that the offense gives him a chance to do his thing.

But I'm sure plenty people love the potential of that Giants offense.

Would you draft 2nd year LF on the Giants over the same LF on Jacksonville? Barkley is probably on LF's level.

I mean, Gordon is a career sub 3.8 ypc guy and LF was a 3.9 guy last year. The known commodity is their role and volume. That’s essentially what you’re buying

Assume all 3 get 275 carries and catch 50 balls - one, I don’t believe Barkley is a sub 4 ypc guy. Two, he is the best pass catcher. Being a rookie means nothing to me in this situation

Hard to say. It's difficult to get the image of the last 5, or so, Giants running backs not doing anything of note out of my head. New staff or no new staff.
