I believe he is safe this year and prob. next year. I just don't see UNC paying a 10+ million buyout when football is not king around there. Unless they could get a big name coach or a proven coach, it wouldn't be worth it imo.

App State is the only school in North Carolina that really cares about football. If he makes a bowl next year he's safe.

N.C. is strong in football outside of the ACC. Has had lots of success with HBCU schools and D2. ECU was a top 25 team several times under Skip Holtz/Ruffin McNeil/Lincoln Riley
