As you can see the elite 11 which is run by so called evaluators of QB talent... not too many Home Runs in this class
Seems a little early to say something like that.

Please tell me who in your mind was coached up to become an great QB in college?
It's a known fact that Curly Hallman coached up Brett Favre and is 100% responsible for everything Favre did.

This just shows people bolt too fast.

As an elite 11 QB if your not starting after redshirt freshman yr ....your a bust/overrated by the qb consultants that so many colleges hang there hat/future on...statistics prove that out year after year....Brett Favre was not a great college QB not even close...he developed in the pros to be one of the best of all time but he's an outlier in the big scheme of things.Yes some kids can be coached up to greatness..I saw Kellon Mond play in 8th grade and I saw the 2nd coming of RG III and told Verge Ausberry what I saw and that he should get Frank Wilson all over this kid as a 14 yr... LSU ignored him until Coach O offered him at the 23 hr...he's now a sophomore at A&M and the starter for 2nd year ...this kid will achieve greatness because he has great talent and now has a coach that will let him do his thing instead of Fisher trying to make him into something he ain't. Mond ran the fastest 400 meters in US by a kid 14 and under...this kid was in the Elite 22 but was not selected to Elite 11 in class that had Tua..Brennan...etc..my prediction is that he will be best of all when all is said and done..

With the option to b what L.N would've been for us

Transferring doesn't always work out.
He'd still be behind here, but maybe not that behind.

So.. Jimbos letting him run track?

He would be welcomed back but not entitled to be a starter.

Can’t believe TrueTigerTale hasn’t been here yet to defend LS.

But he was an All American at EMCC Best of luck to him!

This depends entirely on who’s already on the roster. If a school has s junior, former Elite 11 QB and has a redshirt freshman, former Elite 11 QB, you’d call the RS freshmen a failure for not starting? Also, schools evaluate players themselves and don’t depend on the services.

Brett Favre was the first pick in the second round. He was more than you depict him to be in college.

Hallman was a defensive coach.

Yep, I have no ill will towards the young man.
Wish him the best.

Ivy's dont give athletic scholarships.......
I'm pretty sure a lot of their recruited athletes get some sort of academic scholarship. I just saw an article that said the Ivies are using their endowment money to give athletes more grants and financial aid. It's doubtful he would've paid much at all, if anything.

He made a 25 on his ACT. Not bad, but certainly not great
I looked it up before I saw your post. I was surprised it was a 25, I don't know why I was thinking he got a 30-something.

If I had a child that was a high level recruit, I would send them to a high academic institution, if that was an option.
Stanford, Rice, Duke, Northwestern, Etc.
Stanford is the big outlier. You can go there and still play for a fairly big-time program plus go to one of the best colleges in the country. If I got an athletic scholarship there I'd jump on it in a heartbeat.

Should have gone to an Ivy League school or Syracuse. Feel bad for the kid.

Word got back to me so naturally I'm here to respond. When trusted 'sauces' from players to TAF members close to the coaching staff all say the same thing, L.S. was not getting reps to compete for the QB position, coaches are going another direction, should I ignore or what.
In the end, I guess we all learned that not all high school phenoms are super in college, and it appears L.S. may be one of those players, but that's still no reason to talk so negatively about the young man the way some fans did.
Zachary will have other phenoms coming along who will succeed at the college level, just like they had Zach Von Rosenburg who played pro ball and won state titles as a freshman in baseball at Barbe, then at Zachary during his sophomore, junior and senior years, four titles in all! There's another phenom at Zachary, who might achieve such monumental success, he's already won a title in football as a freshman, and could very well do so as a sophomore,a junior and senior, LSU doesn't need to burn any bridges, by the way this Op sucks, just let it go.

Last year I went to Pluckers with Narcisse (who I know personally) and Scott came along. Narcisse and I are both 6'3". I'd say that Scott was 5'10", and that's being generous. Really nice, well-mannered kid.

Again, no hard feelings here. And I’m sure your right about ZHS producing more badasses. I’ve known Brew personally for many years and like the way he runs his programs. More championships on the horizon.
It just was not meant to be for LS. He just wasn’t a SEC quality QB.
