Women who dress this way are the same as men who peacock around the office. Whether it's fair or not, people respect you less.

There's a fine line between having a nice haircut and looking clean and classy vs wearing a spandex bodysuit to highlight my physique.
But from your OP...

Attractiveness only exists for sexuality.
Uh...sounds like that line isn't so fine.

IMO there’s a difference between looking “put together” for the sake of exuding professionalism/neatness and dressing with the intent of exuding sexual attractiveness.
Men and women can do both.

Exactly. You stick a younger woman with a decent figure in pretty much any outfit, and it is deemed “sexy”... when a frumpy woman wearing the same outfit would be fine.
I don’t think it’s fair to expect someone to wear something baggy that doesn’t fit just because you think they look hot in their regular fitting work attire.
The problem is, is when a man tells the younger woman with a decent figure that she looks nice today, and completely ignores the fatty wearing the same outfit.

I would imagine it's damn near impossible for a woman with curves to dress in a way that doesn't attract attention, unless she is wearing a burka.
Pants or a longer skirt/dress would be a good a good place to start.

No it's not.
Of course it is.

Are you pretending there aren't gradations here?
Nope.
But the intent is all the same.

And I also said this

If you want true equality then we must account for gender differences. We all need to agree to dress the same and look the same at work, or at least try to get as close as possible.
My having a nice haircut and dry cleaned dress pants and shirt is something woman could do as well.

I think his point was that if a woman is young and attractive, many men would consider pants or a longer dress too sexy if it isn’t completely baggy or frumpy.

Yeah, but I'm hiring girls like the one in the pic 9/10 times. It's a double edged sword

And there are levels to it, so we should try to limit it as much as possible. If women follow that rule then we're making progress.

I'll just use the OP's own quotes
quote:
I don't believe that sexuality can be separated from attractiveness, biologically speaking. Attractiveness only exists for sexuality. We can ask people to ignore it but this will always be true.

I want to look attractive

the only way they're going to not attract attention, is by dressing so poorly that Pecker is going to make a thread about them saying "Why do people show up to work in a professional environment in clothes that look terrible?"

I bet she is smart. She is using a Bloomberg terminal. That takes brains to operate.

Who is stopping you from wearing provocative clothing to work?
I think your real issue is that dressing provocatively won't benefit you like it does attractive women.
