Yep. FWIW - I entirely agree on women who wear highly inappropriate clothing being tacky. But like someone else said, that’s typically receptionists or women with no sense of professionalism.

So we're pretending that attractive women only have the option to wear provocative clothing or look sloppy?

Come back when you agree to dress like Bob from IT with his oversived khakies and Sketchers

I actually pitched that we all wear Mao like outfits, or did you not read the OP?

Pecker, just get to the point...is there an outfit that you want to wear to work but are afraid to?

No but a well fitted pant suit or skirt is going to get labeled as "provocative" because a nice body is a nice body.

So women can wear less provocative clothing at work to reduce the degree to which the sexualize their appearance, correct?

Feel free to start your own business and make that the dress code.

So you've never done a double take at a hotty that walks by in a pant suit?

Yes, but I probably unconsciously respect her more than a babe in the dress in the OP.

You can still be very attractive in more professional outfits. I'm not arguing otherwise.

You're struggling here and haven't actually suggested a solution. I did. Should men and women not attempt to dress as similarly as possible to negate gender differences? Yes or no

Babes are babes. And the only way they're going to not attract attention, is by dressing so poorly that Pecker is going to make a thread about them saying "Why do people show up to work in a professional environment in clothes that look terrible?"

I tend to be amazed at how some men don’t want to admit how strong their thirst may be sometimes.

A solution to what problem?

In general, women will be treated according to the image they project, and nothing more. I don't feel sorry for those who lack class yet expect to receive it.

True equality in the workplace. How can there be true equality when we are highlighting our gender differences?

No...woman dress in what is appropriate for women to wear and some goes for men

Should young school boys and girls dress the same in schools? As in, no skirts for the girls, only pants and button down shirts for everyone?

No.

You're struggling because you admitted to doing the same thing that women do.

No.

Because it doesn't matter.

People will learn to signal their sexuality in other ways.

Sure, when you're looking at golden skin tight dress vs pant suit.

But again I ask, where do you work that the golden skin tight dress is around the office? I've never in my life seen a sales director walking around like that in her day-to-day. People with prominence in an office don't actually dress like that.

1st - Not a problem
2nd - Not attainable

So basically, you are pissing in the wind.

The genders aren't equal so there is no use pretending they are.

The solution is market reaction. It won't be perfect but it will be organic.
