I don't expect the offense to be clicking on all cylinders the first game. I know you hate O and E, and despite a win, will be one of the main ones bitching.
Most people that are realistic understand that it will likely take a few weeks to start really coming together on offense. Most of us hope the defense can hold us up until then. I realize you aren't most of us.

In theory, I mostly agree with you. However, I do think that people are going to have little patience because it's his second OC in 2 years, so last year was the mulligan. Also, Orgeron said camp was a success, so again I think people expect us to look good on Sunday.

Oh I fully expect people like Sammy. I'm not saying they won't do well. I'm just saying a bunch of new playmakers, new OC, new OL coach, it isn't unrealistic to think they will take a few games to work out the kinks.
But, there aren't a lot of rational people on this site.

College football fans are the most irrational bunch out there. I've been saying not to overreact to the first game. But, if LSU comes out throwing the ball all over the place and has Miami on their heels the whole game, I'm probably gonna be super excited. Conversely, if they really shite the bed (for boxcar willie) then I may pretty salty that next Monday.

We scored 45, 48 and 44 points in our first 3 games.
It’s not uncommon at all for quality OCs to have new offenses firing out of the gates.
Have some standards.
I meant Like really bad. We don’t need to be as good as we’ll ever get but I mean If we look clueless I am gonna have to wonder about coaching.

I'll be objective, good or bad. I honestly expect some mistakes by lsu, typical first game miscues, but at the end of the day dishes out a thorough arse kicking to the U.

well he is the head coach so he has to get credit just like any other head coach would get. if you can't handle that then you should just move on.
