They found the girls bodies late yesterday/early today I believe. both of them submerged inside "mostly full" tanks of gas.
Timeline/breakdown

On Thursday evening, several high-ranking sources told Denver7's Jennifer Kovaleski that the bodies of the two young girls were found inside oil and gas tanks that "were mostly full." The high ranking sources told Kovaleski they believe Watts placed the bodies of 4-year-old Bella and 3-year-old Celeste in the oil and gas tanks in order to conceal the smell from passersby.

very much so.
I didn't know her personally, but we were on the same team professionally, and so a lot of the people I work with did know her, everyone seems to be taking it really hard, which I guess says something about her character. :(

That POS put the girls in oil tanks on an active production location through a thief hatch at the top of the tank on his route. If he tried to do that at a location on another pumper's route, he could've been caught by someone stopping by the location as part of their normal route.
His punishment should be to drain an oil tank down to a few feet of oil left, put him in it alive, weld it completely shut, and bury it.

This is beyond the concept of losing it or going insane.
The truth is everything you see or hear is just an act. No one, and I mean no one, knows what truly is in another person's brain/soul/mind.
Monstrous.

Which lends credence to the idea that this was totally pre-meditated. Nothing about this was an act of passion or rage.
What a sorry sack of shite. What did killing them accomplish? Did the piece of shite honestly think he'd walk away from this, no big deal.
frick him.

Oh damn, then I wonder why he would put the girls in oil tanks and destroy all of that evidence that could have exonerated him for their murders?
Fricking POS. I hope the prosecutors have the balls to go for the death penalty.
