ETA: Sorry, I was scrolling through and thought that was an actual Ree post. Well done, carry on.

Well we had wrs transfer out when he was hired full time. He was the dline coach so not having depth there is on him.

Depth was not a problem at WR. LSU did not have a Biletnikoff award candidate at WR though.

He also has been here since 2015 so he should know if his kickers were worth a shite before the start of last season

Yeah, the D-line coach gets to decide who the kickers are going to be. Brilliant !!!

The qbs he signed were committed before, and he failed to sign a qb last cycle. So he had to go Juco

Are you an LSU fan? Do you think Joe Burrow came from a JUCO that is called Ohio State?

He did not have to sign a QB at all. I guess you would be happy if he didn't.

signed a single fricking one other than Burrow.
BRILLIANCE!!!

Whatever you do don't look at the 24/7 recruiting site. You will be disappointed to see that LSU has two 4-star QB's committed - one for 2019 and one for 2020.

Such a great recruiter and manager of the roster.

Only intelligent thing you said in your entire shite post.

What I'm saying is that it's not practical to make grad transfers a significant part of the program's long-term vision

Well, he had three QB's and got to see them compete during the spring. Would you not have tried to get a transfer QB?

He has been at LSU for one whole season as permanent head coach. Neither you or I know if this will be part of the "long term vision". To even bring it up is ridiculous at this time.

Uh oh are you downplaying the significance of an interim coach's role in a program?

Not at all. I'm just not having a conversation with someone who is trying to argue and states that Eaux was the RC for a whole year and the interim HC for 10 games.

If you believe either or both of those two statements, you talk to him.

Despite the "ace recruiter" having sarcastic vibes, I will give him a nod on this one. Whether anyone likes it or not, his ability to recruit transfers is a positive for our program.
His gifts were dually acknowledged before his arrival in Baton Rouge.

In order to prevent from having a lack of depth at the position it is needed to sign a QB in every recruiting cycle. (I'm not talking about grad transfers that's a stopgap)

It's truly incredible. It's like LSU fans have just kind of accepted it as fact at this point. At least we have the TE coach from the previous regime to right the ship.

It's truly incredible. It's like LSU fans have just kind of accepted the fact that after one season the current head coach should be able to do what the last regime couldn't accomplish in 12 years.

Kinda what we fired that regime for failing to do, and was probably the #1 one thing he had to do.

Two months as permanent head coach and signs the #7 class in the nation.

Is that #7 class all on o? Seems to me that Miles had something to do with that class. Now, I'll give o credit for keeping that class together, but he doesn't get all the credit for the #7 ranked class.

But I know how some of you guys like to give o all the credit for the good things, and place all the blame on other people when things go wrong.

So I'm not surprised that you would attempt to make it sound like o was the only coach responsible for that 2017 class.

Poor coach O he doesnt have a chance to succeed because of the previous regime. The previous coach continues to be the reason for everything that can or will go wrong with the program.

O's lack of recruiting the CB or QB position this past cycle was completely on miles for ruining the program.

I can’t wait to watch O win 10 games or more with all these ready made transfers.

Well he didn't sign a freshman QB last cycle and has 1 DT QB committed for this cycle and my understanding is we aren't targeting another at this time. Obviously it's early, but I have a hard time being extremely encouraged by that situation.

This is a new lie from you. Does jacoby Stevens know he wasn't supposed to be on an official visit on November 4 that year?

It that it?

My bad.

Coach Eaux did not allow ANY official visits while he was the interim HC except for one visit from JaCoby Stevens on November 4th. It was scheduled before JaCoby's visit to Alabama also in November.

Keep stabbing at those straw men. I never said he absolutely should have had Brennan developed and ready to go at this point, but it's not an absurd idea to think that with a bit of stability and a proven competent established QB coach/developer in Brennan's ear from the beginning of his career to now that he would be in a much better position, perhaps not requiring us to go out and get Burrow at all. Let's not pretend like sophomores competing at a high level is some unheard of phenomenon. Either way, my overarching point has always been that we won't really know the true long-term worth of the O-Ensminger experiment until they can show they can recruit and develop a competent QB of their own.

He could have recruited as the Interim and could have started talking to JUCO DLmen.

And then the new coach comes in and wants players he has been recruiting. I'm sure he was recruiting to keep the entire class intact and with the addition of K'Lavon, Jacob Phillips, Todd Harris, Tyler Taylor, etc, etc, etc.

He really misjudged Cb this year. So giving him credit for a 1 year CB transfer to fill a whole he should have addressed in the class it bogus

the article was about transfers. It is disappointing that Eaux was the first head coach EVER to lose a recruit that was not even committed, but what can you do besides go get a transfer with three years experience?

It's damned impressive, honestly. Let's see how the transfers translate to success in the real Death/Deaf Valley.

Why because I had a little fun messing with idiots on a message board by posting the same picture over-and-over to see how long it takes for one of them to bring it up.

It took 10 days. Ha Ha Ha !!!!
