How does a company lose $11.2 billion since 2011 or whatever the article said and stay in business. How much of those loses did this a-hole find a way to pocket?

The biggest thing is fast Eddie took over Kmart/Sears only for the real estate and to sell off/poach their only valuable assets. He's a smart man, but at the cost of many others.
Kmart never had a chance in the 90s when they refused to update their inventory/computer systems. That's what killed them. They just would not get up to date while Walmart and Target did. Lampert was just smart enough to pick up the scraps.

The Sears Roebuck cards were more narrow and longer than most cards. The old Goudchaux’s were the same style. K&B Drugs was purple. My first 3 credit cards circa mid 70’s.
