No SEC school other than Miss St has lowered concession prices probably due to existing contracts already in place.

From LSU
Though Tiger Stadium concessions definitely won’t be any cheaper this fall, the athletic department will revisit the possibility on a year-to-year basis.

“If you’re not going to pay it in the concession prices, it’s going to be in the ticket prices,” Ewing says. “The money’s going to be made, whether it’s called an admission fee or a concession.”

Douche bag, this is why gameday attendance is so poor.

I live in Baton Rouge, have been going to games my whole life. Looking forward to watching every game on the back patio, BBQing whatever I want. Drinking top shelf liquor and smoking a cigar. Will still probably make out better then if I did go to the game. Plus I wont have to pay $6 for a coke and 7$ for a nasty arse hot dog

Note to the fanbase

If you want prices to drop, stop paying for the over-priced shite they currently have now.

Used to be our fans were considered part of the Tiger family. Now they're just anonymous people to be squeezed for every dollar they can.

Yes, because if your fans stop paying, revenue drops. This in turn allows the university to stay competitive with other SEC schools. Oh, and this will also make it easier to hire Nick back at his rightful place.

You got a link for that quote?

I hate what LSU has become. I used to love going to every game Home and away, now it’s just an expensive hassle. I hate it

I truly enjoy seeing them struggle to sell tickets. Thoroughly enjoy it

What about when people stop going completely and you don’t make a concession or an admission fee?

Price doesn’t bother me as much as quality.

That would require thinking past step 1. Tough for the LSU administration.

LSU moving in the opposite way of improving the fan environment on game day, it's been that way all throughout Alleva's tenure here. Nothing about this is surprising.
