There is nothing to see here, really. Neither one of these kids ever contributed and they weren't going to make a difference now. McMillan has a career total of one completion and LN never took a snap. Pretending that this is a loss makes you dumb, foolish or agenda driven.
Both should have moved on long ago.

And what would pretending that the Ed O regime will bring any sort of success make you? Dumb, foolish, and agenda-driven?

I don't like being down to two scholarship QB's, but I can't blame him. He already graduated and seemed to have won the open competition fair and square in the spring, only to have the coaches bring in a transfer. Now, I think bringing in Burrow is what was best for LSU, but the writing was on the wall: McMillan was never gonna get the starter's job.

I have no problem with a guy who legit felt like he won the job and has his degree already pursuing other options. If he wants to play college football in anything other than mop up duty, he had to go somewhere else to do it (or pray for injuries). He made the call to play and he didn't sacrifice his education to do it. Good on him.

as long as he gets them in 4 games. WE NEED HIM TO RS!

TWO GUYS BAILING DOES NOT HELP THIS!

I meant in practice before the season starts, but I get what you're saying.

Brennan should absolutely get in a lot in at least 4 games and then we try to red shirt him.

“ there is nothing to see here”

Really?? LSU loses 1/2 their relevant QB staff 3 weeks before the season and that’s “nothing”?

Everything dealing with LSU QBs is both relevant and something to see. imo

that's very telling.

telling of what?

Kid's not quite good enough to play, and is leaving...which is reasonable. If he was being snarky, its because the current coaches didnt think he was good enough. Do you honestly think Miles was going to play him. All it tells you is that he may have felt slighted. Thats it.

You will all be geezers one day. For your information, the years will speed up after you retire. Remember this.

George, this is NOT a referendum on LSU's football program, nor is this the appropriate message board to discuss such matters

this is about Bilj and his posts. That's where the focus should be

That’s fair Stu.

He'll be starting somewhere. O is bad in handling the JB situation. Should have told the team that JB will be the starting QB this year when he got JB transferred rather than waiting this late to tell everyone.

How many starts did McMillan get while here for what three years?

ok i was worried there was some limitation like early in the season or consecutive or something. that's much more palatable
I was too, and that was not as easy to find as most things are.

That's being a bit dramatic. We basically swapped Burrow for JM as our starter (a positive). LN's departure was the only mild surprise/loss.

Which is why they left, these kids weren't going to spend another season on the sidelines in a noncontributing manner. They wanted to play and I don't blame them, so they'll play for someone else now. I wish them luck, no hard feelings, they owe LSU nothing and vice versa. Narcisse wanted to play this season, and it probably would have been a struggle this season with the ups and downs that would have occurred. But next season he would have come into his own and LSU would be contending for the SEC title and CFB playoffs, problem is they (Orgeron and co.) don't have until next season.
