19- You for sure lose: Devin White, Greedy Williams, Garret Brumfield, John Battle, Rashard Lawrence, Foster Moreau.

2019 schedule includes @Bama, @State, @Texas, @ Ole Miss

I’ve been saying this.

Cole Tracey is one and done too. Not to mention Giles and Fehoko would be prime candidates to leave if they are as good as we think they can be, and add college graduate Burrow to that group as well.

And aside from those road games, there is very little doubt that Florida, TAM, and even Arkansas, while at home, will be much better in year 2 under their new coaches (year 2 is the time for marked improvement under quality coaches).

The bottom line is if we don’t have the staff to get us to 10-2 and a NY6 Bowl this year they won’t be the ones to do it the next year either.

It doesn’t get easier. The SEC is coming out of a historic slump for the past two years. This is the time to strike while the rest of the West is just starting the climb back up.

History shows that if a coach doesn’t get to Atlanta by Year 2 they never do.

I think the advantage we have in 18 is we can probably get into the playoffs with 1 loss fairly easily because of the brutal schedule

The 19 schedule might require perfection

I won’t argue this except to say—on gamedays—coordinators are much more important than Head Coaches.

Opened this thread expecting it to be about the basketball team. The only run the football team will make under the Ogre is the run to dump season tickets

2019 easily, schedule gets easier and in theory, if Burrow came back, we wouldn't lose a ton. There's like 3 senior starters on this team.

Better in 2019 and I say this if we don't have weird transfers.

The entire starting OL and every backup will return

Every QB will return and if not, at least the starter and one backup who will have gotten snaps in games

Every WR will return

All RBs but Brossette and Ducre return, plus we bring in what I believe will be at the very least, the #2 in production by the end of his freshman season, Tyrion Davis.

On defense you might lose Lawrence, but I'd bet he returns. You'll lose Battle, the Stanford transfer, White, and Greedy. LSU is still freaking loaded and will have talent, depth, and experience on all three levels of defense.

Miss St, Auburn, and Ole Miss lose everything. We most likely will play Vandy from the East, and UF and TAMU come to Baton Rouge. I see Texas being really good next year, and Bama as well, but the schedule is roses next year compared to this year.

If LSU can gain the much needed experience on offense, and gain experience with depth on defense, the 2019 season sets up for a huge year, I'm talking 11-1/12-0. This year we are getting shite on with the Fulton situation, the schedule, the OL, the new offense, new coaches at several offensive positions, all the inexperienced players on offense, etc.

Next year the excuse will be that 19 class needs time to develop, but 2020………we comin

And then in 2020 it will be “well, we lost so many players early to the draft” and rinse and repeat....
