He didn't look anywhere near as good as that stat line indicates.

His second chapter looked much better than his first.
Perhaps some running plays are good for his game.
When has CSP ever planned for such?

Looked fine to me when he was actually passing or could escape the pocket.

Took some horrible sacks, but his ball placement was very good, unlike Savage who had two good balls despite completing about 10 or so.

People keep pointing out that he only looked decent or had a decent stat like because he played against people who won’t make their respective teams, however y’all are completely disregarding the fact that the players Taysom was playing with also likely will not make the team. That works both ways, especially when considering QB play. The O-lines always struggle the most in preseason every year for every team, just look at how our D-Line got more pressure in the 4th Qtr. Also I think some of you guys are getting too influenced by the commentators, on one of Hill’s first drives he scrambled up & to the left a bit and broke a tackle then turned again, at that point he was actually turning his head & shoulders to look for a WR downfield instead of just turning to a running QB. Announcers kept saying look at his head he’s wanting to run, IMO they completely misdiagnosed that play. Hill didn’t do anything to suggest that he’s the heir apparent to Brees, but he also didn’t hurt his case last night either. To me he actually looked like he tried to hang in the pocket for as long as he could before pressure forced him to step up & run.
