Nola Dining: Looking for Recs!

Going with a small group of people next month to Nola for the weekend and want to hit up one a nice spot for dinner with everyone.
I was wondering if there's any places that are interactive possibly or fun? Just looking for different.
If not, then a classic spot where some young couples would enjoy while in Nola.
Will be celebrating a B-day out there!
TIA!

While with a large group there could be drawbacks, sitting at the Toups South kitchen bar could prove entertaining.
Claim a corner and talking across the bar might be easier than imagined.

I'm kind of drawing a blank on "interactive" so I can't help you there.
Otherwise your list is very overly broad and I would want to narrow it down a bit.
Does area of town matter? Price point? Casual? Fine dining? Traditional restaurant?
Here are some thoughts:
High end fine dining:
Commander's Palace
August
Casual Fine Dining:
Coquette
Saba (or Shaya)
Wine (or Cocktails) and Small Plates:
Bacchanal (there will also be live music, great spot)
Delachaise
Bouligny Tavern
I think Bacchanal would be the most FUN of those places. Great outdoor area with great wine and good small plates. Its always packed, live 3 piece jazz bands, fun place. But will be hot as balls obviously.

Second Toups South. Chef is there, interactive, great selection of food.
Not too many places with this setup, if none. Was one other, but they closed down.

N7 is s great spot if the temperature is conducive to dining outside. They have all sorts of canned seafood to share around the table, and pretty much everything is strange and shareable. Daily specials are great, and come on...it's a French restaurant named after a famous Parisian vacation route...in NOLA...just seems like that's what you should do.

If you’re looking for interactive try Collette’s

For something new, take everyone to Longway Tavern, sit in the courtyard and order the whole menu to share. Food was great, but you expect that out of a chef who came from Herbsaint and Coquette.
We did it last week with 6 people and was a blast.

Second Meril. Great atmosphere. The food is really good too and a good wine list and cocktail menu. A little loud but great for a group.

Interactive meaning I wasn't sure if they had a place where you can learn how to make nola style cocktails or anything along those lines...then also pair it with great food.
Also, currently I think the lean with the majority of the group would be a Casual/Fine dining type spot...but would rather go to some of those places like Bacchanal, Longway Tavern, Coquette.....
These are all places I've never had a chance to check out before. Would love to experience some new stuff with awesome environments.

Coquette is fantastic. To me one of the best restaurants in the city. And bacchanal is always fun.
Do both. Dinner at Coquette, take an Uber to the other side of the city to Bacchanal and drink wine all night.

How about taking your group to the Country Club.
The interactions you all will have there will be talked about for years.
