Went out there this afternoon and you can see they didn’t remove anymore trees, but they shaved about 10’ off the point bringing the water line closer to the trees. They also wrapped the levee back into the hill, but left it a foot or so lower than the main levee so it’s still a spillway.



This is looking from the spillway. This area was widened a little bit more, but it hasn’t been dug any deeper. The new levee/spillway looks like it will raise the depth another 1.5’ maybe.

That looks like t needs to be about 3’ deeper..

Is it just the pictures, or is the elevation of the trees below the elevation of the spillway? Looks like theres a chance they may be in the water? Does your contractor have any way to shoot some grades for you?

I can overnight you a Deere and Volvo key and you could just handle up on it yourself.
