LSUs $25 individual ticket “fee” is insane.

Just looked at individual tickets for a game and the fee was $25. I’ve never seen one that high not through a percentage based service such as stubhub. It was shocking. They must be hurting for money. We are not good enough to warrant that kind of gouging. I checked auburn for comparison and there’s was $5. MSUs was $12

They need to sell 4 tickets an hour to cover the salary of the person who stuffs the envelopes. That school bleeds money.

Pretty soon Tiger Stadium will be home of the $25 hot dog to make up for people passing on buying tickets.
The stadium is too big without having championship success. I think 92,000 was the perfect size (or even 80,000) because sometimes just getting tickets was something to celebrate. It's different now. We have the people on campus on gameday to fill a 130,000 stadium, but with a huge supply of tickets, all-day drinking/tailgating, ridiculous prices and post-game logistics issues, things aren't likely to change. They'll have great crowds for a few games and have to get creative with prices/packages for the other ones.

speaking of tickets I was emailed today by LSU still trying to sell FLEX plans. This is the third time they have tried to sell me tickets AFTER i gave up my season tix this year. first the mini season package, then inidividual tix and now this flex plan. It must be REALLY bad.

I'm sorry you are poor. Now go ring your cowbells and leave us alone.
You weren't planning to buy any tickets. You are just coming here to complain.

$25 is way too much. It’s incredibly over market valuable

Wake up dude. The entire state is hungry for money. Not just LSU.
I don’t understand how people say LA is a cheap state to live? Shits ridiculous here. High insurance, high property, high taxes and now high fees to see the flagship team play.

They might start selling "2nd Half" general admission tickets for 1/3 of the price where people just enter and pick the best available empty seat after the halftime exodus.

Wow, Hit the nail on the Head there!! Sadly they might try it...
LSU has and will continue to run off its best fans with Sucker pricing and gimmicks... I can afford tickets, but I'm not going to pay these over zealous Tradition fees. Plus I don't want to see alabama-birmingham or troy or any other also ran team.

It is a little high.
The price fluctuates based on opponents, so should the fee.
It should be as a % of the ticket's face value.
I am guessing that they took AN AVERAGE or SOME Tradition fund figure and calculated an average, except that having season tickets have a greater value than individual ones.

Maybe they are saving up for the Joe Alleva Severance package?

I am in sales and for years we have taken clients to LSU games. This is the first year people have asked about Saints games. If its not bama or georgia no one gives a frick.

Maybe not you...
but I am sure some others do.
As I am sure that SALES from SAINTS TICKETS generate revenues for LSU.

ok LSU just emailed me YET AGAIN for FLEX PASS ticket plans. this is twice in TWO DAYS now. 4th time they have contacted me( 5th if you count the phone call)after canceling my season tix. They must be really struggling to sell. Looks like the fans have had enough of a BS admin and are speaking loudly with their wallets this year!
