Obviously he wants to go undefeated, but in all honesty is almost impossible. What do you guys think the record in his head is to keep his seat from getting too hot?

10 wins minimum I would think....nothing less is gonna do it.

IMO, he can't lose any more than 3 or he is in serious trouble and the seat is very hot. We didn't fire Les Miles to continue with the same type of records. We were supposed to be moving in the direction of an elite program not backwards.

I would think he is aiming to go undefeated. That is the correct mindset to have at this point. Anything short of a NC is going to be disappointing as it always is

Everyone's favorite river boat pilot should be praying for 10+ wins so he doesn't have to work overtime the entire season.

10 wins and competitive in the losses would have people buying into the program IMO

He needs to put everything into winning week 1 and then take it from there. I see no reason he needs to look any further than Miami.

I would agree, but with so many new coaches hired in the SEC this offseason, who would LSU approach about the job?

God I'm glad camp starts Friday. We'll have some refreshing things to talk about. And hopefully a favorable ruling for Kristian Fulton to raise the morale after a bad recruiting weekend.

He probably thinks he needs to win two out of the 4 games against Miami, Alabama, Georgia and Auburn.

He needs to win 3 out of the 4 games against A&M, Miss St, Florida, Arkansas.

He needs to beat Ole Miss comfortably.

He needs to dominate Southeastern, La Tech, and Rice.

9-3 seems reasonable - given the schedule - to keep his job.

Obviously, the real target is always undefeated with a Natty. As it should be.

Well that's quite obvious, but I'm sure there's a number in his head that he has been told he has to hit to keep his job

He needs to lay off the gumbo and get on the recruiting trail.
