Geez.

Yeah, they just went out there and made dumb mistakes. Almost like they had no head coach to guide them.

What about the prior week when we were lucky enough to fart out a win with Syracuse? Syracuse! In Baton Rouge, at night. The players fault again?

I don't understand what it is with you O fans. If you like the guy, that's your right but you're not being realistic. It's always someone else's fault. It's completely illogical. "It's Aranda's fault, it's Canada's fault, it's the fans fault," now it's the players fault.

It's never the fault of the man that's actually driving the bus. It's truly mind boggling.

Yeah, that's the game people sort of just forget.. That Syracuse game was ugly in its own right, but we eventually won on more talent.

I kept thinking during the Troy game.. okay we will just just come back and take this one as well.. surely we won't lose this one.

Never played the game did you? Otherwise you might have played a game in which the staff prepared you well but key players didn't perform for whatever reason. That is what I am saying might have happened. Understand O meddling in Canada's offense but I don't believe that kept the offense from producing. Lack of blocking, throwing and catching was the problem as well as 4 turnovers.

Don't care how well you are coached, players have to execute. Otherwise you might not win.

Not an O fan, but geez, he has the job even though I was vehemently against him getting it. But give him a freaking chance! If he shites the bed I will lead the parade to fire him.

BTW, Syracuse barely lost to #8 Miami while they were playing well and then, remember this: they beat #2 Clemson. So the Syracuse win is a little better than you might think.

Overall team attitude is something that stems from the head coach.

For whatever reason, LSU didn't show any heart until the midpoint of the season. To me, that's the biggest thing to take away from last season, and something to watch this year. If we put forth the effort, I think this team will be fine.

I didn't see anywhere the op stated never. Also if it's always the coaches fault, then mj must not have been the reason he won six rings. I guess Phil won all those rings. But if players win some games, them they also lose some.

God I wish we lost that game instead of Troy! They beat Clemson so it wouldn’t have felt as bad to me

The same shite used to happen under Miles. We struggled against Troy in 2008. We struggled against Towson State a few years back. I remember some yeas back we allowed ULL to get too close in a game. Saban allowed an undermanned UAB team to outplay in 2000. DiNardo allowed a Houston team to beat him in 1999 after allowing them to almost beat him in 1996

This happens more than we care to admit. I personally think that e players and the fans don't fire themselves up for these games, expect to win easily and then have to be reminded that no one told the other guys they were supposed to roll over
