His actions have shown he has been very tough on Russia including killing hundreds of them in Syria.

Yeah that's a pretty weak correction from him.
It should have been:
"Since no one seems to realize the depth of inadequacy in the justice department, and to show the nation I meant what I said, I just sent the Attorney General notification that his services are no longer needed. By the end of the day, there will be a special counsel appointed to investigate Clapper, Clinton, Lynch, Comey, Rosenstein, and Mueller."
The melt would've been better.
It should have been:
