I’m watching Running Man for the first time tonight. Obviously this movie is the definition of awesome, but seriously, who thought that line was a good idea? I’m pretty sure they just let Arnold ad-lib his one-liners and didn’t bother with a second take.

It was the 80s. I don't know if you could tell by the dialogue, gratuitous violence, and costumes but, movies could be a bit over the top.

love this movie
First saw it on VHS taped off HBO. The scene at the beginning where the dude gets his head blown off when he runs past the security perimeter with his collar on freaked me out
Of all the 80s remakes I would think this one would be primed

Casting Richard Dawson was fantastic. An actor who moved on to gameshows moving to movies playing a gameshow host.
