Always liked Jimbo. He is going to do very well in College Station imo. Sucks doubly for us, because the Ags got a good one

IF he wanted the same kind of deal aTm gave him I'm glad we passed on him

I wish it had.
Again, I don’t care if he and Herman both suck at Texas, it isn’t indicative of what they could have done here.
Can’t believe he already has a&m as the #2 class currently.

Please elaborate. I have no idea what it's supposed to be telling me.

Speaks absolute volumes about our administration.

I think it was much easier for him to leave FSU after a losing season than the season we pursued him.

And he still left for 75 million fully guaranteed...there's simply no way we ever would have came close to that, even after his better season the year before

Well we had him for a lot less after 2015 and Miles was carried off the field, but Alleva and F King decided it would look bad.
ETA
F King and Jindal, not JBE

Agreed. I would have been fine with $7mil per, but not 10 years guaranteed.
JF is a good coach that will probably do well at A&M, but 10 years is a big risk that could tie A&M’s hands down the road.

Lol, these people always make me laugh. Like it was your money or something. LSU could make up the 75 million for his contract, with extra profits with one championship team.

Yep, and what if you're no better in 4 years down the road than you were under Sumlin? Consistent 3-4-5 loss seasons? You're still on the hook for 40+ million/rest of his contract.
