Hey we almost ran the same workout this week!

Strava is dumb and doesn't show when I manually split on my watch for the actual splits

Here recently I have looked at the data on Strava less and less. It's not a bad tool for keeping me accountable but from a "how am I really doing" standpoint it has a lot of shortcomings

If you notice Pedro and I post our workouts from Garmin, I do that because especially on workouts - the information helps me out waaay more than Strava.

P.S: Strava is the reason I've been so consistent in my running, their segments make running a game and the accountability is incredible. Garmin just does the "how your body is responding to your current training," they also do "intervals" if you push the action button.

ETA: yeah Pedro, I was shocked how close they were once I finished. I'm thinking my ultimate rhythm cadence will be right around that pace... should be great for me next year once I begin that push for a BQ (7:15 pace gives me a BQ with no buffer, and for clarity, that 7:15 pace felt a lot like my 8:00 pace 5 months ago, I don't expect to keep getting better this fast going forward, but it's exciting seeing these results)
