The Barkley Marathon started after 9AM today. The only coverage that’s decent is posted on Twitter by @keithdunn if you’re interested in following along.

My left hamstring is killing me when running. Doesn’t really bother me otherwise, and I can even lift weights (deadlift, squats, cleans, etc).
Safe to assume I just need to stop running and lifting for a while?

5 runners are on loop 4. That’s wild. Hoping we get multiple finishers this year.
Jared Campbell pulled out after loop 3 due to injury. That would have been 6.
