You know how HBO put all 3 Godfathers together in 1 long movie but in chronological order?

***correction: Godfather 1 & 2 in chronological order***

Has anyone or will anyone do the same with the Marvel movies & even potentially the key/references scene of Marvel TV shows...?

I think at this point Marvel can just create their own channel & knock this out on their own.

I thought some of the AMC theaters did this before Infinity Wars came out.

This would be an insane number of hours of content for a single movie

They didn't do all 3 Godfather movies, just part one and two.

AMC hosted a marathon of just 12 of the movies (including Infinity War) and it was 31 Hours.

Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk
Thor
Captain America: The First Avenger
Marvel’s The Avengers
Guardians of the Galaxy
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Captain America: Civil War
Doctor Strange
Spider-Man: Homecoming
Black Panther
Avengers: Infinity War

If you included them all, it would have been over 38 hours without Infinity War.

Total as of today (with Infinity War and Ant-man and The Wasp) would be over 42 hours

Hold the phones. How do you do a marathon like that without The Winter Soldier?

I'd binge the heck out if that over a few weeks/month or 2. That'd be awesome.

Were all of the scenes from the various movies in chronological order or were the movies just shown in their entirety in order of their release dates?

Are you asking if they spliced all of the footage into one big film putting all of the scenes in chronological order?

Apparently AMC didn't do much research.

If you're building to Infinity War, you don't really need Incredible Hulk, especially when you leave off Winter Soldier. (Not that WS is completely necessary, it's just the best Marvel movie)

You don't really need Black Panther, but you do need Thor" The Dark World (introduces the Reality Stone), and Thor: Ragnarok (Infinity War starts minutes after this film ends).

You also don't need Spider-Man: Homecoming.

ETA: You also need Guardians 2 if you want to have any idea why Mantis grabbing Thanos' head does anything.

Yeah, seems odd. They left out movies that introduced key characters (IM2 introducing Black Widow, TWS introducing Falcon and TWS, etc). I would have left out The Incredible Hulk before leaving out IM2 or TWS

He's talking about re-editing all of the films into one long movie.

So you'd start with Captain America: The First Avenger, mixing in some of the WWII flashbacks from the rest of the Cap and Marvel films (or TV), then work in some of the Hank and Janet Pym stuff from Ant-Man, Ego's visit to Earth in the 80's, Peter Quill being abducted from Earth, then go into the Captain Marvel 1990's stuff... then get to Iron Man.

Some theater chains did this for the Marvel movies before Infinity War. They didn’t show Iron Man or The Incredible Hulk though, because they shot those before they converted to using higher tech cameras.

Well, if you wanted to watch everything, including all of the TV shows, this is a guide you could follow:

LINK

I've been re-watching all of the movies with my kids, since they've only seen a few of them. We're watching Winter Solider next.

That's where I'm coming from. TWS doesn't do a lot with the Infinity Stones storyline, but it does introduce integral characters, as well as set up the HYDRA infiltration of SHIELD/US Gov't.

Thanks.

Hopefully someone splices up all the scenes in order for us some day.
