Edit: So just for fun, my budget choice would be a CZ 455FS with a Meopta Meopro 6x42.
My highest choice would be between a Sako quad and Volquartsen summit. Both with some sort of 1-6 optic like a trijicon accupoint. I could see myself spending the $2k on either of those setups but not $6k on the Cooper. The CZ with meopta would be like $800.

I couldn't see myself spending $2k on a gun for deer, much less squirrels. That's some hardcore squirrel hunting.
I stick with a good ole Winchester 22 semi-auto. It was my grandfather's gun, and a damn fine one at that.
