Not confused at all. Well except that I don't understand how lowering the bar and having a record just like the one the last coach had when he got fired is trending in the right direction. A top 10 team based on talent shouldn't lose to Troy, unless of course the coach sucks arse

Lmmfao. He has never won shite, just like O. His only year ever coaching a power 5 team he went 6-6...but he is a proven winner. Lmgdmfao.

He had more big wins in two years at Houston than Orgeron has had in his entire career. Again, that’s a fact and not an opinion. You’re fighting a losing battle here in comparing the two.

Again dumbass, miles was 15-11 over the last 3 1/2 years in the sec. That is approx 58% I believe, without crunching the number You know, the conference we are trying to win.

In one year, O went 6-2. That is approx 71%. That sorry mf.

But then, you described the program as stagnant, despite a tremendous amount of movement during the off-season and lots of positive momentum.

Les didn’t get to play 4 teams at .500 and below in any given SEC season.

And he never lost to Troy.

OOC count too.

Again, someone with an MBA should have a more versatile vocabulary. You disappoint me with your primitive word choice.

Yes, he went 6-2 in the weakest sec in 15 years. He also lost to Troy and lost to state by 30 points. He also had the worst recruiting class here in 15 years. He showed no guts in the bowl game and coached scared much of the year. He talks a big game but not much to back it up. I can see why you like him. You have much in common

Herman's final season as Houston was 9-4. That's a really weird record to bash another coach for, don't you think?

I've brought this exact same thing up to Ree on more than one occasion and all you get in a response, if you even get a response, is the same old crap about o being a first year coach, playing a million freshmen or whatever the fricking number is ree likes to quote, lack of talent, SEC West, etc., etc., etc.

Or he'll accuse you of being in love with Herman. Nevermind the fact that ree blows o on a daily basis here on the rant.

No, not really. Nor is the recent success or winning culture.

You can try and play this little game and act like O and Herman we’re walking into comparable situations all you like. You’re wasting everyone’s time.

I completely agree with this and realize you were just refuting another point. I would just add that some people just don't see this off season stuff as an actual accomplishment yet. Outside of the Burrow signing of course. There is a segment of posters that view the coaching changes and commits as positive accomplishments and others want tangible on field evidence.

He's really sad. I've never encountered someone with an MBA so devoid of critical thinking skills. He has the entire board shooting holes in his arguments and still lacks the self awareness to concede.

Miles was a buffoon but it took more buffoonery for the university to extend his contract after the writing was clearly on the wall … and it said this, “the state’s top players are now leaving to go play for Alabama, time to make a change”

Holy fk. The legend of Herman is growing as we speak.

Holy shite, he has 4 good wins, period. One against Oklahoma, which was by far his best. One against FL St in a bowl game, and two wins against Louisville, you know the same team O beat the shite out of. He also has many bad losses.

So he took a #10 and #11 recruiting class and made significant strides to 6-6 in the big 12....AND....he is certainly moving them forward.

Yep pretty much. You left off the 2017 class but I forgive you.

Last year’s results were objectively a step forward for the program. Not sure what else to tell you.

The recruiting class he signed, on paper, is a MAJOR step forward. Obviously he needs to show it in wins and losses.

A coach with a winning pedigree earns that benefit of the doubt. Ed Orgeron doesn't. I'll wait for the momentum to translate to wins before declaring him a successful head coach. To this point, he's one of the worst coaches in conference history, statistically speaking.

Well quite honestly, the 2015 and 2016 classes were the ones that should have been playing..with a few fresh from 2017. #28 isn't great, but certainly not terrible or 6-6 typw seasons.
