What is the best website to book flights?

Airline?

Should I book now, or wait until it gets closer to get a better deal?

Flying from MSY/BTR to LAS is awful unless you want Southwest.

Minot, North Dakota had a direct flight (as of about 2010). Baton Rouge still does not.

Southwest has limited direct flights to Vegas lately from New Orleans except early in morning or late at night. I took Spirit recently which kinda sucked but I upgraded to a large seat to make it tolerable.

Always start with Kayak or something like that. Then go directly to the airline to check prices. If you’re over 18 and don’t have an airline rewards program sign up for that first.

Shave you booked a hotel? J got back home to LV regularly. I just stay at hotels on the strip as my family is way off the beaten path. I find package deals are much better than booking just a flight. I use hotels.com the most

Booked non-stop flights with Southwest for December. Both departures around 11am. Bundled with hotel, but I believe they were approximately $500 round trip.

For flights I just use the Matrix Airfare search unless you are booking the whole trip then obviously you get a better combo deal with something like Expedia.

As others have said SW is a good bet. I booked Vegas to MSY in September for $290 round trip.

Direct flights both ways.
