we went last saturday and used Gruene River Company. Everyone was very friendly and no complaints. The water in the Guadalupe has been extremely low though. There are many parts where you have to paddle with hands or get out of your tube and walk. Hopefully the rains this week will improve water levels. Some had suggested floating the Comal to us as well since it is usually full of water, however there is a can ban the City of New Braunfels, so we didnt want to float through the town. If you plan to drink/eat on the Comal, everything must be in reusuable containers

floating comal river

Floated it a few years ago and loved it. Just a short float. Wanted to try a longer all day(ish) float. If the Guadalupe is too bony, might be going back. Anyone know anything about san Marcos float?
