Got on some Snapper and Mangroves with SEAPICKLE. It was a little sporty Saturday morning. What did everyone else catch?

Took the gf out on her first trip. Caught a few trout and some snapper.

Went up to the deer camp to put in some work. Heat index was north of 100* by 9:00 every morning..... sucked

We took an overnighter with Corey Talbot from Reel Addiction Charters out of Fourchon. Best weekend of outdoor activity I have ever had. 10 yellows, 15 blackfin, 60 mangroves and 12 endangered red snapper. We will be going back next year.

Spent the weekend in Lake Fields at my cousin’s camp. Ate BBQ, drank beer, and caught a bunch of bream with the kids. Good times.

Wrapped up baseball season with the youngest Chandler. We dont play travel ball,this was league all stars and the last game of the year for us. Kids hung in there and fought some tough competition and got a win. Proud daddy and coach right here.
Now ready for fishing, football and deer.

Went all the way around the Island Sat and picked up 30 trout. Plenty throwbacks, gafftops, and white trout.
All on artificial. Stopped at Bait House to pick up some cocahoes and kid working asked me if that was live bait.
Last couple times I went there, no problems. This time, only had a few minnows, not enough to buy, and they were spread out in all the tubs with shrimp and croakers.
Has to be new ownership.

Took little balla out to Sabine and forgot the worms at home but I tied on a beetle spin and got to let him reel in a little mess of bluegill, plus a goggle eye, a chinquapin, and a white perch.

Went down to the ranch to fill protein feeders, set snares and what not. It was hot. Killed a pretty big rattler right below the house.
