How do I know which can evolve besides the obvious Pokemon? I don't have any 3 slots yet, and I haven't spent any snacks or cores because I don't think my spirits are worthwhile. I've seen some of the legendaries powered up over 13k, but I need some to get to the legendaries. I can get novice and advanced off the spirit board without difficulty. Instead of saying "Starts with beam Sword Equipped" or something it will say "Can be enhanced at Level 99." So, not all Pokemon evolve, fyi.

Both of those battles suck, I still haven't beat either one. If I were you, I would just go to the Spirit Board and start an unlocking bonanza. That's what I did. You're bound to find at least some novice spirits that reduce some of the trickier conditions.

There's a good one, Alma and Celia Spirit, that starts you off with a rear guard, handy for many of the multi fights. Mythra Spirit is higher damage against assist trophies. And There's a good one that starts you off with a Franklin Badge (Reflects projectiles - easily one of the msot useful spirits).
