Sad. And we only managed a tie against them in the away match.

Yep, was just thinking that watching this.

We did beat them 4-0 the last time we played them.

A tie away is not that surprising in CONCACAF where they waterlog the field and let the grass grow for a month and then thug up the entire game.
Guarantee England wouldn't be running them off the field in Panama

Also England doesn’t have to deal with concacaf referees.

Amazing when you play over the hill players out of position.

So did Germany-defeating Mexico.
The US was bad in qualifying, but every single world cup cycle people blow bad results down in some crap stadium in central America out of proportion.
4-0 at Costa Rica is embarrassing. A draw at Panama sucks but with the stadium conditions and CONCACAF officiating-it happens

No excuses. These dudes are bums.

It can happen on a shite field with the refs we get. They turn it into something besides a game of soccer
that being said, its 11 shots for england with 7 on goal to 6 shots for panama and 2 on goal you wouldnt expect to see a 6-1 scoreline with those numbers

Yeah they suck but people don't understand that the hardest part about road CONCACAF qualifying isn't the talent you're playing. It's all of the conditions that go with it

This game was amazing to watch how non CONCACAF refs handle CONCACAF teams like Panama. Pisses you off to see it actually.

Yea the conditions suck but if we had a team that was worth 2 fricks they would manage wins against these shite teams

Giving up a road decision or road tie in CONCACAF is expected but the US should always beat the likes of T&T. The US should also never get beat at home by Costa Rica like the did. There is so much margin for error it’s crazy.
