I know these are big ifs. But, IF a capabale quarterback emerges that performs up to their potential and IF a dynamic #1 running back comes to light, these coupled with a good defense coming back and one of the most talented wide reciever corps in the country what would y’all baws think would hold us back? Aside from the orgeron, I think Ensminger is often overlooked as being a vital part of effective play calling. I for one am optimistic for the season as I am every year. What do y’all think?

Defense is there..need good QB and find a RB. Hoping Burrow is the answer, schedule is nasty.

The schedule is brutal. I hope we go 12-0 but I think 9-3 is probably the ceiling if everything you stated in your OP comes to fruition. I think 7-5 or 8-4 is more likely.

I'm looking for 11 & 1 and an appearance in the SEC Championship. I will accept 10 & 2 so long as I don't see any stupid arse blunders. If I see a 3rd loss anywhere along the way, I'll be bitching.

9-3 sounds right to me.

Losses to AU, UGA, and UA

Getting UA and UGA at home could change things, though.

Defense should be good enough to keep LSU in every game. Having Burrow and a loaded receiver corps should put pressure on every defense they face.

Our OL looks like it’s going to be the weak link. Also, every other team in the SEC has a coach with a better resume than O, so there’s that.

Our WR talent is soo stacked that our spring game that didn't impress at QB had 500 passing yards because of WR play making.

I actually don’t even think this is a necessity.

I’ve compared this group to the 2011 backfield before, and even the 03 group, and I think that we have a stable of backs with a lot of different strengths that they all offer. Freshmen taking on big roles in our backfield is nothing new in Baton Rouge either.

If Burrow is what we think he is, and E can design an effective and balanced attack to pair with Aranda’s defense, there really is nothing stopping us from a 10-2 year and first NY6 Bowl. At least

LSU should beat all the non-conference opponents and conference foe Ole Miss. However, I remember the Troy game in 2017. We should lose to UA, Ga, Au, & Miami. Toss up games are Florida, Miss St, Arkansas, & A&M. Best record would be 8-4, although I think we will lose a toss up game which will give us 7-5 record.

I think we go 10-2. Before Burrow I figured 8-4.
