It wasn't a guess it was a fact, A&M did lead the nation in revenue and was the first school to take in over $190MM. Now the following year Texas and A&M both have eclipsed the $200 MM mark and they look to flip spots, depending if no other school jumps them

The document, which was obtained through an open records request, shows the Aggies saw a revenue jump of a little more than $17.5 million from when it led the country in revenue in 2016.
The Aggies won't be claiming that title this year. Texas, which finished second behind A&M last year, reportedly generated more than $215 million during its 2017 fiscal year.
