hmmm it might be because businesses did exactly what they said they would do with the windfalls from ole Donald's tax plan

Owners and corporations took their tax cuts and used them for stock buybacks instead of investing in workforce.

the one time bonuses and small raises splattered to people got across this country amounted to dick compared to what corporations received in tax welfare.

Only in the unintelligent mind of someone like you does it mean reducing taxes is "welfare."

Are you capable of having an intelligent discussion without bringing Trump into it?

Realizing the foundation of your theory is wrong. Economists have been expecting rising wages since before the tax cut was put into place.

Get your head out of your arse and learn something new.

You got links?

Downward pressure on wages by cheap foreign labor in the US is the answer.

Look, I'm not conservative. No one on this board would consider me conservative. But just think about how dumb the term "tax welfare" is. Think. Its a purely political phrase that manages to be even more idiotic than welfare queen. Having the government lower taxes is not a form of welfare for corporations. The government deciding not to take the money is not the same as the government giving them money because the businesses still had to earn that money themselves.

I don't like Trump, but the tax plan still has helped the economy. Maybe wages aren't rising as fast as you would like (they're still rising), but the benefit of 6 million open jobs is kids graduating college actually have options now. Instead of going to live with the parents for four more years, they can pursue a real career and have independence as adults.

The worst part of the left nowadays (outside of the communists) is the idea that we should create immense taxes targeting businesses to create huge welfare programs. Because then you will get mad at the same businesses when there are less/no job openings. Calling it greed when its really just bad economics.
