Pretty sure the IOC and FIFA gave the US the World Cup and Summer Olympics back to back just to try to get us off of their tail.

What's even crazier is that Egypt has only one player who wasn't born in Egypt, a rarity for those North African teams. Egypt probably has the best domestic league in Africa and the Middle East.

I mean the richer nations have teams made up of mostly immigrants or 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants. France has trained a lot of players in North Africa and West Africa. They could have a B team made up of players who chose other nations. Germany probably could too.
