I missed the game yesterday due to work.
Overall, how did England look to you all? Strengths? Weaknesses?

Very dangerous in the attack over certain periods, but no one besides Kane could finish. Lots of missed chances, especially in the first half.
Back line was pretty shaky, despite not allowing a ton of chances. Walker conceded a stupid penalty.
Should be fine against Panama, but Belgium will beat them easily if they play like yesterday. About what you’d expect from this young team.

except when it came to finishing
Rashford and RLC were the two game changers when they came on.

Trippier was on point, but no one could finish.
Apparently Kane needs to brush up on his rugby. That ref was atrocious.

Like England.
Phases where they look like Barcelona, and then phases where they look like Woy coached Liverpool in the Paul fricking Konchesky days.
Just brutal, they have absolutely no identity.

Sterling is garbage.
Rashford should probably stay in the super sub role bc he can change games.
Henderson...what does he even do?

Master of the checkdown back pass.
And he scored that one goal against Chelsea.

Like England. Overhyped by domestic hubris, playing with the weight of the world on their shoulders, above-average individual talent but lacking a transcendent player.
Destined for a typical Round of 16 exit, likely on penalties in 0-0 or 1-1 game.
